The last weekend of September sees the curtain come down on Slidesports first season in the Porsche Carrera Cup, with two races on Sunday 1st October.
Car number 9 driven by Dave Fairbrother qualified 4th in class, whilst Ross Wylie in car number 59 experienced a tyre issue and was unable to complete qualifying on an otherwise sunny day at the Kent circuit.
Come race day the clouds had gathered and rain in the area caused the entire line up to start on wet tyre setup.
Fairbrother was running 3rd in class when a clutch issue put him out of the race whilst Ross Wylie, who had started from the back of the grid, delivered a sterling effort to advance to 10th overall, 9th in class.
